2.1. Revues, fashion-shows

         “Let’s turn the hairdressing from craft into art!” – this is the motto of Diana Petkova. Led by this motto Diana does not miss even a single competition or show in Ruse and Sofia. Diana is not only participating in all kinds of events related to fashion and beauty but she is also initiating “Festivals of the Hair and Beauty” that are already a tradition for our city. On the fashion stage many Fashion Houses from Ruse that has won “The Golden Pin” meet – “Leopard”, “Monroe”, “Grancharov & Son”. The sparkling clothes, make-up and body-art naturally combine with music, ballet and even martial arts and motor-cycles. On 1.12.2002 the “Opera” hall proved to be small for all the people that desired to enjoy the beauty achieved thanks to hairdressers and make-up artists from more than 20 saloons in Ruse. Diana and Stefan decided that the opening of the Beauty Saloon should be accompanied by a daring fashion-show on one of the main streets of Ruse. On the elegant cocktail-party “Hair and Style” meets his VIP clients with the team of the Beauty Saloon.
         On 9.03.2008 the team of “Hair & Style” organized a revue called “Graduates 2008”. It offered modern hairstyles combined with designer clothing of “Monroe” and “Maximo”.
         From 2 to 6 June 2008 Diana Petkova and Reni Ilieva represented “Intercoiffure Bulgaria” on the modern forum “Beauty above the Neva” in St Petersburg. The show “Balkan Bride”, thanks to its ethno figures, captured the hearts of the audience as well as the other hairdressers from 11 countries.

2.2. Competitions, Seminars

         The participations in events of the National Hairdressers Association Bulgaria /NHAB/ of Diana Petkova date back to 1995. After the team of the saloon was formed in 1997 the young hairdressers are part of this inspiring way of life. Since the Diana Petkova takes part in all competitions and seminars and from 2002 she is a member of the International jury. Some of the remarkable achievements of the team:

2.3. Publications

         The first steps of Diana in the area of fashion photography are in November 2003. After working with her model Desimira Bachiiska for more than 5 years, Diana decides to participate in the photo competition of L’OREAL for interpretation of fashion vision. The photos are published in the December “Hair and Style” magazine. The Spanish magazine “Peluqerias” also appreciated the “Art Interiors” vision, but the greatest success is the break through on the Russian fashion market. Two pages are completely covered with big photos of Desimira – they are called “Violet”. The summer vision “Aqua Chick” finds itself on the cover of “Hair and Style” August 2004. And again there is a publication in “Dolores” – Russia. The Autumn visions of amber earns three out of five prizes for Diana from L’OREAL – Bulgaria. The photos are published not only in “Hair and Style” but also in the Ukrainian – “Scissors”. In the beginning of 2005 Diana shoots another photo session called “One Woman – Four Faces”, in which the model Desi switches from elegantly aggressive to romantic and even aristocratic view. This vision is published in Bulgaria, Spain and Ukraine. In May 2006 “Hair and Style” leaves its mark in the fashion area. The interpretations on “Mutations”, a theme offered by L’OREAL – Paris won II prize in the Photo Competition. The Team: Diana Petkova – Hair and Styling, Albena Vasileva – make up and Emilia Nikolova – photograph, they proved that Ruse not only follows the fashion it creates it.
         In the summer of 2008 the new aspiration was called “Rockmantics”. “Hair & Style & Beauty” magazine valued the photo session highly and placed it on a cover.
         In October 2008 the photo session for L’OREAL “Thriller” was highly regarded by the “Hair and Beauty” and “Hair dress and style” magazines. There was a presentation in a “spy” style in addition to the photos. It was published in “You” magazine in January 2009.
